PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The ZWO ASI678MC is a high-performance color planetary and solar system camera using the Sony IMX678 BSI sensor. Offering true 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) with 2.0?µm pixels, it captures ultra-fine detail ideal for lunar and planetary stacking.
The sensor features 83 % peak QE, 11.27 ke? full well, and 0.6–0.7 e? read noise, maximizing SNR and dynamic range across broadband and near-IR targets. A zero amp glow architecture ensures clean signal calibration for advanced astrophotographers.
Its fast 47.5 FPS full-frame performance over USB 3.0 makes it an excellent choice for high-speed solar/lunar captures, methane band imaging, and narrowband planetary work with ROI cropping.
