The ZWO ASI585MM Pro USB3.0 Monochrome Astronomy Camera is a cooled monochrome astronomy camera designed for planetary, lunar, solar, and deep-sky astrophotography. It features the Sony IMX585 monochrome CMOS sensor with a 1/1.2-inch sensor format, 3840 × 2160 resolution, and 2.9 μm pixel size.
With a peak quantum efficiency of up to 91%, the camera is designed to capture fine details and make efficient use of available light. Its monochrome sensor also works well with LRGB and narrowband filters, making it suitable for advanced astrophotography workflows.
The ASI585MM Pro uses a two-stage TEC cooling system that can cool the sensor to up to 35°C below ambient temperature under specified conditions. This helps reduce thermal noise and dark current during longer exposures. It also features zero amp glow technology and a 512MB DDR3 memory buffer for reliable high-speed data transfer.
