The ZWO ASI585MC is an uncooled one-shot color astronomy camera designed for high-speed planetary, lunar, and solar imaging. It uses the Sony IMX585 STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor with 8.29 MP 4K resolution and 2.9 μm pixels.
With up to 91% peak quantum efficiency, a 40 Ke⁻ full well capacity, low read noise, and zero amp glow, the ASI585MC captures detailed and high-dynamic-range images. Its USB 3.0 interface and 256 MB DDR3 buffer support stable high-speed imaging at around 47 FPS in full resolution.
