The ZWO ASI482MC USB 3.0 Color CMOS Astronomy Camera is a high-sensitivity, uncooled color astronomy camera designed for high-speed planetary, lunar, and solar imaging. It features the Sony IMX482 back-illuminated CMOS sensor with a 1/1.2-inch format, 2.07 MP resolution, and large 5.8 μm pixels for strong light collection.
With a peak quantum efficiency of 85% and a full-well capacity of 51.5 ke⁻, the ASI482MC is designed to capture detailed images in low-light conditions while maintaining a useful dynamic range. Its 12-bit ADC and high-speed USB 3.0 connection allow efficient image acquisition for fast-moving planetary targets.
