The ZWO ASI432MM is a large-pixel, global shutter monochrome camera tailored for solar and planetary imaging. Built around the Sony IMX432 CMOS sensor, it offers 1608 × 1104 resolution with massive 9?µm pixels—ideal for long-focal-length setups and maximizing signal per pixel.
The global shutter design eliminates distortion from rolling exposure during high-speed capture, and a 97?ke? full well capacity ensures wide dynamic range. Low read noise (2.4–2.9 e?) and frame rates up to 120–164 FPS (mode dependent) make it superb for solar white-light and Ha imaging.
