Product Description
The ZWO ASI2400MC-P Cooled Color Camera is a full-frame one-shot color astronomy camera designed for detailed deep-sky astrophotography. It uses the Sony IMX410 back-illuminated CMOS sensor with a 36 × 24 mm full-frame format and 24 megapixel resolution, making it well suited for capturing wide fields of nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and other deep-sky targets.
The large 4.63 μm pixels provide strong light-gathering capability, while the camera's high full-well capacity supports a broad dynamic range for astrophotography. Its color sensor allows users to capture RGB images without requiring separate LRGB filters.
For long-exposure imaging, the ASI2400MC-P features two-stage TEC cooling, which helps reduce thermal noise and maintain cleaner images. The camera also includes an integrated dew heater to help reduce condensation around the optical window during imaging sessions.
