Takahashi TOA 130NFB Double ED Triplet Refractor Telescope

The Takahashi TOA-130NFB is a 5.1" f/7.7 Ortho-Apochromat refractor that represents Takahashi’s next-level innovation in color-corrected optics. Utilizing a specially designed triplet lens structure, it incorporates a center element of FPL-53 extra-low dispersion glass, sandwiched between premium crown and flint elements. This design results in an astonishing level of chromatic correction and image sharpness.

Air-spaced and free from oil between elements, the TOA-130NFB promises long-term optical integrity with no yellowing or distortion over time. With a 1/12th wave optical accuracy and Strehl ratio of 0.992, it delivers a performance indistinguishable from optical perfection.

For astrophotographers, this telescope includes a deluxe 4" focuser with an integrated 360° camera angle adjuster. Its 274.5mm of backfocus allows for versatile imaging setups including filter wheels, flatteners, or field rotators. Capable of producing an illuminated 70mm circle (92mm usable) with an optional flattener, the TOA-130NFB is ideal for medium format imaging.
