The ZWO ASI585MC-Air Wireless Color Astronomy Camera is an all-in-one smart astrophotography camera designed for planetary, lunar, deep-sky imaging, guiding, and wireless telescope control. Powered by the Sony IMX585 color sensor, it delivers 3840 × 2160 4K resolution with 2.9 μm pixels, high sensitivity, and a 40Ke full-well capacity.
Unlike conventional astronomy cameras, the ASI585MC-Air combines imaging, guiding, and control in one compact system. Its built-in SC2210 monochrome guide sensor provides dedicated guiding capability, while dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable wireless operation.
The camera also features a two-stage TEC cooling system that can reduce the sensor temperature by approximately 30–35°C below ambient, helping reduce dark current during longer exposures. With 256GB eMMC storage, 2GB DDR4 RAM, intelligent live stacking, and multiple USB ports, the ASI585MC-Air provides a streamlined setup for modern astrophotography.
