It provides a secure way to mount 2-inch round mounted astronomy filters in compatible ZWO filter drawers, making it useful for astrophotographers who regularly switch between different filters.
The holder supports 2-inch filters with a 50.8 mm diameter and M48 × 0.75 thread. It is designed to accommodate filters up to 7.5 mm thick and is precision-machined for a secure fit within the compatible drawer system.
This Gen 2 holder is compatible with the ZWO Gen 2 M42/M48 Filter Drawer, Gen 2 M54 Filter Drawer, and ZWO filter drawers designed for Canon EOS and Nikon lenses. It is intended specifically for the second-generation system and is not compatible with first-generation ZWO filter drawers.
